Mom, I’ll have that car one day! I believe that many of you as children uttered this sentence while sitting in front of the television and watching some movie with fast cars. Times have changed, so now those cars from TV movies have become an everyday thing.

Every year somewhere around July and August, I mostly come with the topic of the Modriča Cars show, you remember those guys who are living their dream. This summer too, they treated us to socializing and enjoying themselves with expensive cars. This year there was a slightly smaller number of participants at the event, I believe that the wrong date was chosen, but I had a great time. The event took place on July 16 at the well-known location of Distillery Monogram starting at 5 p.m. Of course, they tried their best again and made us feel like we had escaped from the city noise again. It was the world’s again, and ours.

The location is enchanting, music, drinks, food and cars and the show can begin. Let’s start with the location, far from city noise, nature, hotels and everything the heart could desire in one place, an absolutely ideal place for socializing and enjoying. As for drinks, they offered us something new, namely the stand with Monogram cocktails, which suited the heat so well that it was really a hit.

There were also other drinks that our palates were already used to, so everyone could find something for themselves. As for food, the hotel offered dining inside its premises, while there was a fast food stand outside for all those who couldn’t wait for a fine meal served on a plate. We were honored with their presence by riders with horses, which looked like on TV series. They were really amazing to watch. But it was amazing to see those horses that decorated the hoods of the cars. This year too, there were attractive models, which of course, no matter how many times they appear, elicit sighs from the audience.

The most interesting to me was definitely the Porsche Carrera RS with Serbian license plates, which was really impressive at the car event. His appearance delighted me. There were fewer BMW and Mercedes models, so this year the event was graced only by those who hide a beast under their howitzer. I would like to point out the BMW M3 Competition, which with its green color could not go unnoticed. I am a fan of smaller cars, which look like a box, and that’s how I would describe the Audi RS3 with its brutal sound and cartoon character adorning both the left and right sides of the car.

The Ferrari 348 TS is also a car that distracted me, because I remember it from some movies. For me, older car models are a bigger phenomenon than new models, because they are not everyday in today’s time. This year, Porsche Sarajevo also honored the event with advertising car models, catalogs and an LCD TV screen that showed shots of parked Porsches. There were slightly less naughty drivers who played less with the gas pedal, but this year, as in every previous year, there were enough of them. To me, the most interesting entries are the cars that try to show their powers right at the entrance to the event.

There was enough parking, and I can say that this year they reserved the central part of the event for those expensive cars like Ferrari and Lamborghini. This day was reserved only for drivers of luxury cars, who tried to arrange their machine as well as possible, so that it could be photographed as beautifully as possible at the show.

In addition, the event was enriched with many photographers, both those who do it professionally, but also those who do it for the love of photography. But of course nothing without the guys who once started the Modriča Cars Instagram page and today are living their dream, without them none of this would have happened. They gave a lot of effort and work, and every year they do their best to make this event go as well as possible.

Next year we will surely have a much better and nicer edition, because there are these guys who want to give us the best possible socializing and atmosphere. Kudos to the organization. Let’s hang out next year.
